Dough ingredients:
500 g HORA 000 flour
25 g fresh yeast
250 ml lukewarm milk
100 g sugar
2 eggs + 1 yolk for basting
80 g melted butter
1 pinch of salt
For stuffing:
400 g cottage cheese
2 eggs
100 g sugar
Vanilla essence
Lemon zest
Preparation:
Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk with 1 teaspoon sugar.
Mix the flour with the rest of the sugar, eggs, salt and yeast milk. Knead and add the melted butter.
Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
Divide into pieces, roll out into squares, put stuffing in the middle and fold in the 'poale-n-belt'.
Put in the tray, brush with yolk and bake at 180°C, 25-30 min.
Tip: They're delicious warm, powdered with sugar.
